State-Space Formulas for the Nehari--Takagi Problem for Nonexponentially Stable Infinite-Dimensional Systems
We obtain state-space formulas for the solution of the Nehari-Takagi/sub-optimal Hankel norm approximation problem for infinite-dimensional systems with a nonexponentially stable generator, via the method of J-spectral factorization. We make key use of a purely frequency domain solution of the problem. AMS mathematical subject classification numbers: 41A30, 47B35, 47B50, 47N70, 93B28.
متن کاملEdge-isoperimetric Problem for Cayley Graphs and Generalized Takagi Function
Abstract. Let G be a finite abelian group of exponent m ≥ 2. For subsets A,S ⊆ G, denote by ∂S(A) the number of edges from A to its complement G \ A in the directed Cayley graph, induced by S on G. We show that if S generates G, and A is non-empty, then ∂S(A) ≥ e m |A| ln |G| |A| . Here the coefficient e = 2.718 . . . is best possible and cannot be replaced with a number larger than e. For homo...

متن کاملGENERALIZED REGULAR FUZZY MATRICES
In this paper, the concept of k-regular fuzzy matrix as a general- ization of regular matrix is introduced and some basic properties of a k-regular fuzzy matrix are derived. This leads to the characterization of a matrix for which the regularity index and the index are identical. Further the relation between regular, k-regular and regularity of powers of fuzzy matrices are dis- cussed.
متن کاملCoefficient stripping in the matricial Nehari problem
This note deals with a matricial Schur function arising from a completely indeterminate Nehari problem. The Schur algorithm is characterized by a unilateral shift for a Nehari sequence. c ⃝ 2017 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved. MSC: 42C05; 42A56; 42A70
